How to Install cgdb software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

cgdb software package provides a curses-based interface to the GNU Debugger (GDB), you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install cgdb 

cgdb is installed in your system.

Make ensure the cgdb package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cgdb *

You will get with cgdb package name, version, architecture and description in a table
